Veinwood is in, and ranked play opens
Veinwood is the second arena. A forest map cut through by a meandering river that acts as a moat between the two sides. Water has its own stylized shader. The river curves don't pinch into chokes you cannot escape from. Crossing it costs more than running around it. Different shape, different fight.
Ranked queues open
Solo, duo, and trio queues all run through proper competitive matchmaking, per character, per bracket. Climb in the bracket you actually play.
Leaderboard pages live in the lobby NPC panel. Loading screens between Veinwood and Ruins of Valgor show the destination map's art. Map rotation puts you in either arena depending on the queue.
Quality-of-life
Friendly-fire visual effects got suppressed in the same pass. Healing a teammate no longer makes the whole screen flash like you took a hit. Small thing, hard to live without once you have it.
